DR. MUNJAL- A PROFESSIONAL

Dr. Gautam Munjal received his bachelor's degree in dentistry from Govt. Dental College, Patiala in 1987.

Thereafter, he was associated with department of Maxillofacial Surgery, Safdarjang Hospital, New Delhi; Rajindra Hospital, Patiala; Mool Chand Kharaiti Ram Hospital and Ayurvedic Research Institute, New Delhi.

After that, he joined as P.G. student (Junior Resident) Orthodontics in Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education & Research, Chandigarh.

He completed his M.D.S. in Orthodontics from PGIMER, Chandigarh in 1992 (1993). Since then, he has been practicing exclusively Orthodontics, putting his heart and soul into providing finest possible Orthodontic care with the highest degree of technical excellence and compassion offering the latest in Orthodontic treatment.

Dr. Munjal is a Diplomate of the Indian Board of Orthodontics, having become a Diplomate in 1999, in the very first batch in India, being the youngest and the only one in exclusively private practice among a batch of 12 Orthodontists.

Dr. Munjal also happens to be the only Orthodontist of the region practicing exclusively Orthodontics in his own private clinical set-up.

Dr. Gautam Munjal has presented numerous clinical papers in various National and International Conferences, also being a keynote speaker and chairperson for many scientific sessions.

His clinical paper, “Walk an extra mile for a better smile” won him the best clinical paper award in the 42nd Annual Conference of the Indian Orthodontic Society. In his presentation, Dr. Munjal deliberated upon the finer aspects of aesthetics and stability during the finishing stages of Orthodontic treatment.

Dr Gautam Munjal also presented a lecture at 7th International Orthodontic Congress of World Federation of Orthodontists at Sydney, Australia where he deliberated upon the finer aspects of aesthetics and stability during the finishing stages of Orthodontic treatment. It was appreciated by stalwarts in Orthodontic world from US & UK.

Dr Munjal is founder convener Chandigarh Orthodontic Study Group. He has served as President, Indian Dental Association, Chandigarh State Branch & was honoured with best Indian State Branch President award by Indian Dental Association head office.
